Example of contemporary art by a Texas contemporary artist.

Title:

"Well well, you were right, Schawn," said the voice in his ear. "But now you're stuck in this stupid birdman musician role. Remember last time!?""

""Don't worry, B, I'll stick it, I swear."
"Stick it?"
"Land on my feet."
"See that you do, Schawn. Remember what's at stake."
"Yes, of course," he said."
"Perfect!" Peggy said, unknowingly hijacking the conversation. "Then I've got the perfect apartment for you to look at. Perfect for an artist. I'm sort of an artist, too. Not at all, really. I mean... I have the most coveted collection of contemporary art in the world, parsecs in front of the curve. Can't wait to show you the place!"
Peter knew her collection only existed in her crumbling mind. But he also knew her collection was just as concrete as anything else. After all, he reasoned, mass is nothing more than a particle's ability to travel slower than the speed of light -- and a particle is nothing more than an excitation within an energy field -- and the position of any given particle is up to the mind of the observer.
