""Let me guess what you will be playing," she said..."

""...Pachelbel's Canon, Mendelssohn's March, Elton John's 'Funeral For A Friend', and 'Black Cloud', of course, by Trapeze." She forced a chuckle to assure him she was joking. He chuckled cordially. Then glanced down at the two can openers in her hands. Just then something pulled Peggy's attention to the three women staring at her from across the way in the floral department. All three looked away at the moment Peggy saw them. Then Peggy sensed another stare coming from her left and, sure enough, she turned to see an obese woman and her preschool son staring at her. The woman also looked away as soon as Peggy saw her, but the child kept staring, stone-faced, unaffected by Peggy's scowl. When the man in the tux looked up from the can openers, he saw Peggy's shocked expression and he feared she was offended, that she thought he had ogled her breasts instead of the can openers."
