""A violinist in a string quartet. I stopped here to uh...buy clothes pins to um... to keep our sheet music on the stand. It's an outdoor wedding."
He seemed a bit nervous in a shy way, so she dropped her guard.
"Yes, well, it gets windy -- June afternoons," she said.
"Pretty windy," he said. "Hot wind."
"Don't the stands, don't they have built-in holder-thingies?"
"Not these. Some do."
"Not the best time of year for a tux." (nervous chuckle)
"Oh man, you got that right!"
"I guess so!"
"Absorbs the sun," he said, pointing to the dull black fabric on the shoulder of his jacket.
"No shortage of that Texas sun here in Denton!"
"Got that right. Absolutely!""
